07-01-15If you have started or are running your own business, networking can be a really useful way of getting known locally and creating some great contacts.
But it can be a very daunting prospect if you’ve never had to do it before. Not only do you have to go and mingle with a room of strangers, you want them to like you and trust you so that you will hopefully, over the longer term, generate some business. My blog, Business Networking – what’s that all about then?, covers the basics of the different types of groups and how to make the most out of your early days of networking.
